JExel Nuclear was established as a joint venture between The Japan Atomic Power Company and Exelon
Generation Limited (currently, Constellation Generation Limited) on April 13, 2017.
The purpose is to provide advisory services and operation and maintenance management services
to companies utilizing Japanese nuclearreactors, related designs and technology based on JExel
Nuclear’s experience and the knowledge in Japan and the U.S.
We will also license and deploy the Constellation’s nuclear management model, which is proven and
transferrable internationally.
We have developed our business mainly focusing on the Horizon Project
to construct the first Advanced Boiling Water Reactors (ABWRs) in the U.K. so far.
Aiming at introducing the new inspection system
or a decision-making process utilizing risk information into nuclear power plants in Japan,
we will respond to customers’ needs to study the examples of such systems in the U.S. and how they work.
